Laser Etching for OEM Products

SIDUS offers laser etching services for OEM applications as an option. Laser etching processes use high heat to create permanent markings on metal surfaces. Etching melts the micro surface to create raised marks for identification purposes.  Laser etching OEM products is faster than engraving, creates black & white marks and is the most efficient process to permanently mark most types of materials.

Laser etching processes can be utilized to mark all types of barcodes; QR codes and data matrix codes, serial numbers and alphanumeric characters as well as etching the company logo onto parts for branding purposes.

One of the main advantages of laser etching services is that the application is permanent.  Unlike paper or adhesive labels, etching provides forever identification of the product or part unless the etching has been deliberately manually removed.
